Heart body type women present a soft, round, heart-shaped appearance with firm, shapely, rounded or prominent buttocks. They can range from petite-to-average in height, with small-to-medium bone structure and a defined waist. Shoulders are narrower than, or relatively even with, hips. A layer of softness covers muscle, resulting in little definition. Weight gain begins in lower abdomen, upper thighs, inner knees, waist, middle back, and upper hips.
