The 25 Body Type System

Dr. Carolyn Mein developed the 25 Body Type Diet
Dr. Mein began counseling patients using the glandular body type systems, but quickly found that most of her patients seemed to be hybrids or combinations of the Adrenal, Gonadal, Pituitary and Thyroid body types.

Through years of research involving thousands of patients, she identified a total of 25 distinct body types based on the body's dominant gland, organ or system. Her research also detailed extensive food lists for each type, best time of day to eat various foods, the best exercises for each body type, and a surprisingly detailed personality profile.

She introduced the revolutionary 25 Body Type SystemTM with the 1998 publication of "Different Bodies, Different Diets", in separate editions for women and men. These groundbreaking diet books identified specific nutritional needs for each of the 25 distinct body types - how to eat right and lose weight for your body type without unhealthy dieting.
